Full-Time Teller

Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative maintains and expands relationships with assigned Select Employer Groups (SEGs) while servicing SEG account needs. This position is responsible for achieving penetration goals and strategic objectives within the Business Development Department to broaden relationships with assigned organizations. The incumbent will support the SEG onboarding process and serves as the point of contact for executing activities increasing member growth for assigned entities. Incumbent is expected to independently connect with and expand business relationships to grow EPIC’s membership in this segment.
Principal Accountabilities and Functions:
- Develops new business by contacting prospective members via a variety of means including but not limited to, cold calling, branch referrals, networking functions, business expos, and community events.
- Demonstrates an active role in acquiring new SEGs.
- Demonstrates measurable results with employer groups as it relates to member growth, employee penetration, employee events and balance growth, to meet and exceed departmental goals.
- Establishes productive, trusting, professional relationships with key contacts in assigned SEGs.
- Initiates contact through regular calls and visits to keep assigned SEGs current on all EPIC product and service promotions and initiatives, and to schedule site visits, benefit fairs and other events to broaden the awareness and familiarity of EPIC and its array of services and products that fulfill members’ financial objectives.
- Effectively presents the benefits of EPIC membership in one-on-one meetings, benefit fairs and site visits. Maintains and tracks all activity within customer relationship database Salesforce or similar software.
- Provides Financial Literacy information to individuals, groups and the community at large.
- Serves as Liaison between the community and the products, services and appropriate professionals at EPIC FCU.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Develops and deepens relationships with assigned SEGs.
Required Qualifications:
Previous Marketing or Business Development experience. Financial Institution experience a plus.
Competencies:
- Must possess and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of financial products and services, particularly loans, within six months on the job.
- Ability to efficiently operate in a customer relationship database and skilled in Microsoft Office products and all forms of social media.
- Must possess superior interpersonal and stellar relationship skills by identifying, building and nurturing consultative partnerships.
- Must possess and demonstrate a strong passion for excellence.
- Must be extremely comfortable speaking and presenting to, and maintaining trusting relationships with, all levels of staff in an organization.

Working Conditions:
- May be required to work outdoors for extended periods of time at Credit Union or SEG related events.
- May need to work beyond normal working hours, either before or after hours, pending events and organizational needs.
- Must be willing and able to repeatedly travel to various SEG worksites on an independent basis.
- A valid driver’s license is required. EPIC FCU vehicle is available for BD related usage.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate.

Collections Manager
Key responsibilities include:

Hire, motivate, evaluate, audit, and develop department team members to their full potential to ensure professional and quality service is provided to members while concurrently understanding their challenging circumstances.

Communicate daily with staff to resolve questions or to interpret policies and procedures. The position is also responsible for reviewing, updating, and informing staff of changes to policies and procedures, new services, and government regulations as they pertain to collections.

Ensure all collection activities, including but not limited to skip tracing, charge-offs, repossessions, foreclosures, and garnishments, are executed in line with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Review and investigate escalated items such as credit bureau disputes, loan modifications, and referrals to external collection agencies or attorneys, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.

Arranges the disposition of collateral in the best interest of the member to maximize the net recovery to the credit union.

Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners, including collection agencies and legal vendors, conducting due diligence and overseeing performance in key areas like liquidation and litigation.

Monitors productivity of third-party collection agencies and service providers, ensuring compliance with FDCPA.

Prepares timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on collection activities and their impact on loan portfolio performance.

Ensures compliance with state, federal, U.S. Bankruptcy Code, and NCUA regulations and laws.
Qualifications Include:

Minimum 3+ years collection experience.

Minimum 2+ years management or supervisory experience.

Financial services experience preferred, with knowledge of collections-related regulations, foreclosure, bankruptcy and repossession processes.

Strong ability to connect with people, build trust, and lead crucial conversations with confidence and empathy.

Proven track record of increasing team engagement and delivering constructive feedback that drives individual and team success.

Ability to analyze data to assess performance, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
